Each year TREC Community Investors invests in the community by selecting a number of grantees to receive funding and our members’ volunteer time and expertise. One of this year’s grantees included St. Philip’s School and Community Center.

In an effort to transform the neighborhood, TREC Community Investors is helping convert a former nightclub into an athletic field house for more than 700 children in St. Philip’s athletic program, which includes football, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, cheer, track, tennis, wrestling, swimming and volleyball. TREC members leading this project include Brian Webster of KWA Construction and Louis Sieraa of Beck Group.

Bill Keslar, a St. Philip’s trustee and founder of Building Solutions, said:

The generosity of TREC and its volunteers has made all the difference in the feasibility of these projects at this time. Without their help, St. Philip’s could only have resorted to fundraising and hiring the many consultants and contractors needed for both the Field House and We Creation innovation space.
