Turning 30 never looked so good.
Nearly 1,400 guests dressed in their finest gowns and tuxedos helped The Real Estate Council celebrate FightNight’s 30th anniversary Thursday at the Hilton Anatole. The gala, which has grown to become one of the largest philanthropic events in North Texas, raised approximately $1.4 million to support Dallas Catalyst Project.
“It’s truly inspiring to see the effect that TREC Foundation grants and projects have in the community, and I’m excited to see us maximize our impact through Dallas Catalyst Project,” said Chris Hipps, this year’s FightNight chairman and senior managing director of investor services for CBRE. “For more than 30 years, these funds have been available due, in large part, to the real estate community’s involvement in FightNight. I’d like to thank all our FightNight attendees for making it possible for TREC to continue sparking transformation in Southern Dallas, and I’d like to thank everyone on the FightNight committee for working so hard to create a memorable event.”
We’d like to thank everyone who helped make FightNight 30 the success that it was: our guests, our production partners and volunteers, our 2018 FightNight committee, and our sponsors and donors, without whom we could not continue to Build The City We Imagine. We’d also like to thank our guest of honor, boxing legend ‘Marvelous’ Marvin Hagler, and his wife, for spending the evening with us.
