2027 TREC Community Investors Grant Application
We are accepting 2027 grant applications from community organizations and nonprofits whose work serves low-to-moderate-income households in Mill City, where we are continuing the Dallas Catalyst Project neighborhood revitalization initiative.
Proposals must clearly demonstrate impact in housing, education, job creation, the environment, or neighborhood revitalization.
Should your organization be selected as a grant recipient, your team would receive access to world-class commercial real estate expertise through our association with The Real Estate Council (TREC), targeted educational programs, and technical assistance, in addition to funding.
To be considered eligible for grant funding, please complete and submit the application below. Proposals are due no later than Friday, December 11, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.

Project Eligibility
- Estimated project completion timeline is 6-8 months, with projects being selected in Spring 2027
- Real estate must legally be under the control of the grantee
- Completed project must have ongoing use estimated to be at least five years
- Volunteer activities should involve up to 20-30 individuals including approximately 3-5 weekend hands-on workdays
- A staff member for the grantee should be available and accessible to the project managers for the duration of the project
- Project must be located within the Mill City neighborhood
Preferred Criteria
- Projects must be real estate-based and comprised of modest scope building renovations
- Projects will leverage funds by utilizing the professional and hands-on volunteer skills of TREC members
- Projects must be designed, planned, and executed during the year they are accepted
- Projecst must impact underserved neighborhood(s), demonstrating feasibility and measurable long-term viability
- Proposals involves population(s) expected to benefit from the project in the development and implementation
