Applications for 2026 are only being accepted for projects that invest in the Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City neighborhood.

ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
- Estimated project completion timeline is 6-8 months, with projects being selected in Spring 2025
- Real estate must legally be under the control of the grantee
- Completed project must have ongoing use estimated to be at least 5 years
- Volunteer activities should involve up to 10-25 individuals including approximately 3 to 5 weekend hands-on workdays
- A staff member for the grantee should be available and accessible to the project managers for the duration of the project
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Real estate based and comprised of modest scope building renovation
- Leverages funds by utilizing the professional & hands-on volunteer skills of TREC members
- Project must be designed, planned and executed during the year they are accepted
- Impacts under-served neighborhoods, demonstrating feasibility and measurable long-term viability
- Involves people expected to benefit from the project in the development and implementation
