    Applications for 2026 are only being accepted for projects that invest in the Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City neighborhood.

    ELIGIBLE PROJECTS

    • Estimated project completion timeline is 6-8 months, with projects being selected in Spring 2025
    • Real estate must legally be under the control of the grantee
    • Completed project must have ongoing use estimated to be at least 5 years
    • Volunteer activities should involve up to 10-25 individuals including approximately 3 to 5 weekend hands-on workdays
    • A staff member for the grantee should be available and accessible to the project managers for the duration of the project

    PREFERRED CRITERIA

    • Real estate based and comprised of modest scope building renovation
    • Leverages funds by utilizing the professional & hands-on volunteer skills of TREC members
    • Project must be designed, planned and executed during the year they are accepted
    • Impacts under-served neighborhoods, demonstrating feasibility and measurable long-term viability
    • Involves people expected to benefit from the project in the development and implementation
